Charlize Theron Oscar 2009

Charlize Theron stars as a sexy, intriguing and compelling lead character in her movies. She is an actress that has captivated audiences for her amazing performances. If you’re looking for some sexy and sizzling films, then look no further than Theron. Here, you will discover some of her finest films.

The first movie that I am going to discuss is called The Burning Plain. This is a film starring Charlize Theron, who played the role of lawyer Vitelli in the film. This role was done in 1995 and the movie itself lasted for three seasons. The film is about a young woman who goes to a mental institution after she is accused of involvement in a string of murders. Because of the fact that she was”emotionally unstable”, the guards outside the mental institution do not allow her to leave. She later finds herself in a burning plane, and here, she has to face her enemies.

In the next film, Charlize Theron again stars as Vitelli, now at a biopic about jazz musicians. This film was directed by Guy Ritchie, who at the time was nominated for an Academy Award for his contribution to the movie Fantastic Four. The movie did not get any Oscar nominations but it did acquire three Golden Globes for Best Picture and Best Director. After the award, director Wes Anderson stated that he would love to have been picked for an Oscar rather than Charlize Theron. He further stated that he believes that the film deserves the award instead of Charlize Theron.

The next film which I will discuss will be Ghost City. This is one film that I consider to be one of my favorites out of the seventies, if not the whole decade. It stars Roger Ebert and Gene Wilder as a pair who rob a bank so as to feed their hungry family. There’s some strong acting involved as well as some terrific one-liners in this film.

The next film on the list is Annabelle: The Movie. This is the second film starring Charlize Theron, the first being Monster. While I liked the first film more than I liked the second, I believe that the next one was successful. But I won’t mention any of that because I wish to concentrate on the lead character of Annabelle, which I found to be incredibly sad. I’ve always liked the part of Annabelle, which is a little known story about a young woman who is left paralyzed as a child due to a freak accident that takes place in a clinic.

This was another film that I was pleasantly surprised by, although it didn’t receive the same critical acclaim as the previous film. However, despite the missing critical acclaim, it still went on to make over $1 billion worldwide, which is pretty impressive. No matter what your stance may be on the matter, I am certain that The United Nations Messenger will make its way to at least a few awards at this year’s Oscars.

Another potential Oscar contender is Spy, which stars Matt Damon and directed by Ben Affleck. In my opinion, Spy ranks up there with The United Nations Messenger and Annabelle: The Movie, but I need to admit I was a bit underwhelmed by this movie. It is mostly in the same genre as those two films, but it just did not fulfill the standards of those two movies.

Finally, there’s another potential Oscar contender that I am very curious about, that’s the play The Shape of Water. This movie stars Michael Douglas, kaleidoscope director Jordan Vogler, and directed by Scott Affleck. The Shape of Water received rave reviews from nearly every review site and blog that were written about it, and it even received a number one rating at Rotten Tomatoes, which is always a good sign. I expect this film to receive a number of Oscar nominations, and I also expect it to win Best Picture at the Oscars in the upcoming year.
